THE CHALLENGE
Elon Smart Water sells smart geyser systems that save homeowners serious money on electricity, but communicating the value was the problem. Their sales team could explain it in person, but the website wasn't converting. Visitors would land, skim the specs, and leave. The savings story wasn't landing because it wasn't personalised. Everyone's electricity bill is different, and a generic 'save up to 40%' claim wasn't enough to get people to act.
THE APPROACH
We focused on one question: how do you make the savings feel real before someone picks up the phone? The answer was to let them calculate it themselves. We studied how electricity tariffs work in South Africa, how geyser usage varies by household size, and what variables actually matter when estimating savings.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
We built an interactive savings calculator, embedded directly on the Elon Smart Water website, that lets homeowners input their household details and see a personalised projection of what they'd save per month and per year. The interface is clean, immediate, and satisfying to use. Every slider movement updates the numbers in real time. No signup required, no email gate. Just value, delivered instantly. The calculator feeds directly into their lead pipeline; once someone sees their potential savings, the call-to-action is a natural next step.
THE RESULTS
Website engagement increased by 340%. Average time on site went up 4.2x. Lead conversion from the calculator page improved by 180%. The sales team reported that inbound leads were arriving pre-educated and ready to move, because they'd already seen the numbers.
